all new stars and stripes ...

i was so excited this week to receive my first batch of byebyebirdie autumn/winter fabrics.

lovely soft snuggly jersey fabrics.  perfect for stitching up into smart bibs and sweet little comfy pants. crisp cottons and linens, just right for changing mats.

so in and around stitching orders, i've been experimenting with lots of new loveliness. perfecting patterns and sizings. having fun just messing with the details.

i've been making up little pants, christmas stockings (eek!), kerchiefs and tiny bloomers.  and loving the addition of smart stars and stripes to my cute ginghams, florals and checks. 

i've already added a few new bibs n' bobs to my shop, with more to come over the next few weeks.

all stocked and ready for cooler days but i really do so hope we get to enjoy a gorgeous long blast of summer sun before it's time to dig out our winter woollies once more.
